bugger that. if sensor is after turbo then its very often below 200c.

always get a gauge that goes down to 0c
 
I'm running an Autometer Phantom II EGT in mine. Works a treat with no issues thus far.

Like you Krankin, the Fahrenheit issue is a bit of a pain but it matches in perfectly to the standard dash, even at night.

I did that. Doesn't last, might silicon it.

Oh and I have VDO gauges, VDO all the way.

What tape did you use?
Yeah I'd like some gauges just egt and boost.
What's a good area for egt temps when using the dump pipe for sensor fitment?
 
Mine sits on 300-350C on the highway on the flats, will go to 400C on a hill.

Some commercial grade 3M stuff. Glue works best me thinks.

Really? 3M industrial grade as always worked a treat for me especially on clean plastic...
Did you preosol it? I wouldn't use sicka... Good luck getting it off in one peice. Better off with a tech screw that's hidden haha.
 
Use a wood screw and get those little colour coded plug and stick it in the top. Haha looks genuine
 
I had a VDO EGT gauge in degrees C but it wouldn't fit in the pillar pod. I got an Autometer "Cobalt" Egt and matching boost guage and they look the bees knees. The Autometer seems a bit more responsive than the VDO and I reads 20 -30 degrees warmer. If you are fitting gauges to a pillar pod the gauge must be 35mm or less to fit. Btw, I have a VDO Egt and boost gauge for sale. 0429622211.
