Hi Fella's, first time posting on the form. I have a 2005 Nissan Navara D22 with the ZD30 motor.
I recently had a hi flow 3" turbo back exhaust instauled and a manual boost controller. I'm still bogging down a little when trying to take off while towing. After reading on here maybe blocking my EGR could help...?
So I just have a few quick questions regarding block the EGR.
I know this is a topic that's been brought up time and time again but I just want to know I'm doing the right thing.
My mechanic has recommended I don't block it because he believes it will cause a fault and send the computer in to limp mode. Reading on here makes me believe otherwise.
I plan on blocking it as close to the motor as possible to avoid any sensors picking up on any change in flow.
Is there anyone else that has blocked it and had issues? Or sent it into limp mode? Is limp mode reversible simply?
Wouldn't mind hearing a few more pro's to blocking the EGR. But any information would be helpful.
Cheers Nathan
