probably air lockers.
they would end up being the same price i think for 2 e-lockers and 2 air lockers with compressor. and you get the added benefit of having a compressor. Ill start researching the prices soon.

Looked at prices for air lockers today.
1179 for front
1219 for rear
Or if I buy them together they will take 200 bucks off.
Prices are cheaper then what I was thinking they would be
Also, steering arms are being out back together and being beefed up today. Car is still in the middle of the bush. Hopefully get it out this arvo.

thanks mate. Hopefully everything is done by around christmas time.
Yeah i have one drivers airbag, should be okay with the custom bar according to my mechanic who's making it. half the stuff on there at the moment is apparently illegal. may as well go all out on it now haha
ill have to admit it was deeper then i thought. haha was going semi slow though, so it should do too much damage to the radiator... hopefully. on the way back through the water went over the bonnet. must have been deeper in the ruts.

Yeah just a simple tube bar. Depends how carried away he gets when he's making it haha.
The ride is good. heaps better then the standard saggy suspension. But i cant compare to anything else such as a 2 inch lift cause i havent had it done. But the ride is a lot stiffer and its not top heavy or anything like that. heaps of flex too. my leaf springs are dead flat though...

Looks pretty sweet. You need the big tyres and body lift to suit that sort of bar. Differently one of the better looking tube bars i have seen. Hows the sale going, any bites?

Yeah its a hard choice. I really want a patrol, but im still happy with the Nav. It gets me most places but i would like to tackle harder tracks with more ease. Selling cars and finding a good used patrol is a pain in ass. The price for a 4.2 TD Gu is stupid, they are going up in price rather than coming down.
My plan is to keep the Nav and then in a year or so might looking at buying a cheap patrol just for 4wding. All comes down to money now i have a home loan though.
Bar does look sweet.
