diesel fuel additve

Hi all
Is useing additive a good idea or not my nav has 33500km on it I am heading for Duddo 1200 km trip each way with my camper on the back and a full load on friday I have a bottle of chemtech diesel power should I put it in or not

Chemtech won't hurt your engine. I've used it, didn't seem to do a lot, so I stopped putting it in.

I run an injector cleaner in my Nav every 3 tanks, seems to get better economy afterwards.

Yep Fuel Doctor is the one. made by BP/Castrol

chemtec is good. anything to help the filter trap water is good.

from what i hear as a general rule of thumb, no additives are good for your engine, a good mechanic friend told me this when i was asking him about which oil flush product i should use, but he did say that injector cleaner is all good!! but again im going off what im told.

Yeah use the chemtech. Follow the directions. I use it heaps. I also change my fuel filter every 10k..Phil

i use Pro Ma DT5 regularly mainly to help keep any water out of fuel
