Always room for improvement
I will have a list of upgrades after I test what works and what doesnt.
Things to note are.
Exhaust system isnt to shabby, minimal to moderate gains only in this department I think.
Intake system is shocking, big gains to be had here.
Fuel ratio is already quite rich, but not as much so as the 2.5L. Air flow improvements should be considered first still.
Intercooler is quite effective, will have to wait on test results to see if/how much I can improve on that.
Tuning is very.... Emission related. Injection Timing figures are woeful and could contribute to as much as 15kw over standard on its own, will have to wait and see once I get a unichip fitted to it.
The motors run hot! Wow, underbonnet temps are through the roof, extra fueling wont help this at all.
yep 25psi stock, I assumed it would only be 20 but oh well.
Makes me think that the 130kw I can get out of the 2.5D40 at the same boost and leaner fuel ratio is not to bad
