D40 Power difference

Where did the info come from?..is this Nissan speak?


d40 Craig...which of the above dot points did you see where the extra power is derived from?

Yeah basically is "Nissan speak", they would of supplied the info to the 4x4 Australia magazine i read it in.
Its a fairly old mag, i will try and find which copy it was published in.

I would say the main areas the extra power comes from is the increased pump pressure, and the cylinder head.
The turbo would be just how the power is delivered, not anything to do with how much power it puts out.

Mate, not being a mechanic, I'd guess it would mainly be from a 'new' head.
But, why would'nt they use this 'new' head on all their 2.5 D40s?
