D40 M226 diff same bolt pattern as the Frontiers?

Gday all! Was just looking at a rear diff cover to suit a Frontier. Now i know Nav's and Frontiers both have an m226 in the rear, but would the bolt pattern around the outside of the diff cover be the same?

I think they are the same diff. I have changed the bolts holding the hat on and for some reason they are the only imperial bolts on the truck. My guess is its the same as the M226 from the Frontier

Well id definantly trust your answer on that mate! I want a diff cover for my 06 STX just to keep it a bit cooler inside, but NO ONE makes them for D40 Navs, only Frontiers.

Just wanted to make sure all the bolt holes on the alloy covers were in the same order between the Navs and Frontiers before i ordered one

Well I couldnt be 100% sure but I seem to remember someone else put a Stillen hat on a Navara ages ago

Yeah i was looking at the Stillen ones but the one i found was for a 2WD Manual only (does that even make a difference with diff alloy covers?).

Not that am aware.that could be the kicker cos mine is a 2wd manual.
I have a spare diff buried in the back shed I might see if I can find some verniers and measure it

All good dude just compared photos of three different ones to the factory alloy cover. Bolt holes are in the exact same spacing and order

I would need to try to dig out the spare diff. Lets just say its a project that ran shy of funds so got shelved for a bit lol
