D40 king cab tyres and rims

I looking for tyre sizes for Navara stx king cab
Can I fit 265/75 R16 BFG MUD-TERRAIN T/A to my alloy rims size 255/70 R16
If not what is the closest I can fit

Welcome to the forum.

275/75s are large tyres. 265/75s scrub the guards as you turn the wheel, so expect these to do the same. Generally a 2" lift is needed to help clear the 265/75s but when your suspension compresses with the wheels turned like in the picture below, you'll find the guards will still need cutting or remoulding.

I have some BF Goodrich 265/70s on now. They're 2% larger in road diameter and has caused my fuel consumption to rise a little - not entirely happy with that, but the tyres are great.

I have a 2" lift and sorry they were 265/75 R16
the 255/70 R16 that came on it are crap onroad and off road need to upgrade

Then you've got the right gear, done the right way. Just keep an eye on the guards if you flex the vehicle and turn the steering.

I have 265/75/R16 on my ST-X DC at the moment and no issues at all. However your ST-X will have different offset to mine . The Spanish built vs Thai built thingy
