its time to replace the injectors

any suggestions on suppliers
have been reading about baileys diesel and reviews or thoughts on them

What is the current price from baileys diesel? Ive also heard that they are the people to see

No idea on price, but maybe give sloans diesel service in buninyong a call. They are the diesel injection specialists in ballarat

have decided do go with a new set of denso from cornell as recomended form my mechanic total 1575 delivered

Not the baileys ones..i read they offer a 2yr warranty as opposed to the 1yr on the new denso

Last time i was talking to baileys ( approx three months ago) they were doing a 3 year warrenty and a set of exchange injectors cost about $1100. I would have gone for it but they couldnt get the stock in time for me.

So are rebuilt injectors worth it..do the fix any issues with them

From what i understand they are better than new. Much tighter quality control, much better matched to each other, uprated materials and coatings.

Im sure ill need some one day.think ill be trying them.not just because there cheaper but there are lessons to be learnt from playing with older tech...things that can be improved and things that just arnt right in the first place.

Whats the average life span on diesel injectors when do u know they need replacement

Depends... On the yd25 CR turbo seems to be around the 150 to 170k mark.
