D40 engine conversion

Hey crew,
Looking at buying a 09 shell to replace my current one due to getting screwed over when buying it except i need to pull my engine out and put in other due to having a wrecked engine. What kind of hassels would i have to go through with the rta and so on to get a 100% road worthy nav?

I would imagine you would be pulling motor out anyway if you were doing a shell swap so no hassles as long as they have engine and chassis numbers.
Or do you mean engine from different car as in getting it engineered?

If you need an engine and a body why not by a new car, and keep your current one for parts or part it out and flog off the bits and pieces on fleebay???

just a new body engine is still in good working condition and it would be an engine swap and getting it engineered
