D40 CV shafts and hubs compatible

Just hoping someone knows the answer. Are all D40 hubs and CV shafts the same? It would seem odd for Nissan to run different running gear and at 350+ per hub and 750+ per shaft I'll just get aftermarket which are dramatically cheaper if they are.

Yes they are.

I bit the bullet, bought a replacement shaft for the 4cyl D40 and hub and they fit perfect.

BTW I got around 250km out of a hub with bearings gone before it started to rub the brake disc against the caliper and melted the ABS wheel sensor. That is one tough bit of engineering. Good to know I can get a fair way if worst comes to worst.

How long did your front wheel bearings last. I replaced mine at 115,000 kms?.
