With a chip,exhaust,intercooler and egr mod you will get alot more power out of the 3L than you would the 2.5
I had the dyno read outs from the horse power factory and the gains were quite substantial

There is a guy on Patrol 4x4 - Nissan Patrol Forum that is chasing 200rwhp out of his ZD30.

Not sure what the turbo he has is, I think its based of the same parts as my new one.

Looking at both models now and will be hopefully test driving a 2.5 this weekend to compare the 2
