D22 gearbox dead

So I am looking for a gearbox to suit a 1998 Nissan Navara D22;

• KA24 engine code
• 2WD
• 2.4L Petrol
• 5speed manual

Anywhere around South-East QLD, or Australia wide depending on price I may freight...
Any information you could provide on whether you have any, or know of where to get any to suit the car would be great as I am looking for one as soon as possible.
I have been told that any from 1997-2004 can suit as long as they're the same engine code and all..is this true?

check your build plate, it will have your gearbox type.
being 4cy petrol its proberly the FS5W71C or similar.

these are used everywhere in Nissan range, so if your handy and want to swap over parts then its easy to get these anywhere.

Otherwise you would be looking for a bolt in replacement, proberly any 2.4l petrol d21 / d22 / terrano / pathfinder etc etc will fit.
