D22 flywheel

Does my 2013 STR have a dual mass flywheel? I have read a bit about the drama with these, but only on the D40. Why would the upmarket Navara have a weaker or more troublesome clutch/flywheel?

They're more plush to drive. The dual mass flywheel absorbs (they contain springs joing two plates) some of the rattly vibrations of the diesel and makes them more user friendly for the family (read wife) market.

They're a piece of shite - but there you go.

Hey, the more i read on here, the more i think the D22 was the right choice for me!

I got it because the deal was sweet and my V6 spadge was costing me a small fortune to run.....mind you i'm spending more on fuel now than i ever have, cos i just love driving my new Navara.
