D22 engine cast iron head

Hi,
Recently acquired a 2001 d22 2.5tdi 133hp
I've heard nothing but bad things about the engines in these so I am concerned. However my engine seems different in that the head is cast iron instead of aluminium.
Does this mean it's a different engine? The engine no doesn't begin with YN it starts with TD but I have read somewhere it's the same. Can anyone on here advise me on what engine I actually have?

Yeah it has a turbo

It sounds like a TD25, cast iron head OHV.

Not the same as the YD25 with an alloy head and DOHC.

I'd rather have a 3 litre NA than a 2.5 turbo. One less thing to go wrong.
