D22 2WD shock upgrade

Good Day !

I'm thinking of upgrading the shocks on my 2WD D22 Frontier equipped with the TD27 non turbo engine, manual. The shocks I can get will give me a 2 inch lift and a smoother ride. But I am unsure if it will fit at the front since the upgraded shocks are 52mm in diameter. The OEM shocks I have now are still good and has never been changed since I bought the vehicle new. The Oem shocks are much smaller in diameter and it doesn't seem to have space for a 52mm shock.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Has anyone ever done any kind of shock upgrade to their 2WD Frontier ? It's the model seen in the attached photos.

These shocks you talk about must be something new as I dont know of any shocks alone that will give any lift.
What are they???

They're Amada Xtreme shocks

the shocks do not give lift. they simply have room in case you have lifted the ute.

if the manufacture states they fit they should fit. tho some have found some brands tend to touch on the arms at full extension.
