My 2004 d22 has a nasty dry creak on full lock ,any hints as to the problem .cv's etc ?

easy fix is to get under there and put some thick bearing grease etc on the bolt head and steering arm that rubs on it on full lock. I always try to avoid full lock as well.

It's just one of the many "character adding" features that Nissan service department will tell you is "normal operation." But a bit of lube on the steering stops as mentioned does the trick!

will be steering stops small nylon buttons pressed on full lock adjustment screws one on each side available from nissan maybe 8 -9 dollars each easy to remove with screwdriver and tap on with small hammer yes small hammer or for a quick fix apply small amount of grease lots of reversing with trailers and turning with hard lock will wear them out quicker
