hi all this is my first post here so bear with me. i have a 2007 navara d40 RX, 2.5l diesel manual.i just got it and i notice that the cluctch engagement point is very high compared to any of my other cars, i know the clutches are crap on these cars so i dont know if its on its way out or if thats a normal thing for these cars. The clutch doesnt slip or anything on or off road.

Mine was the same since new... nissan wouldent do anything about it. it wasent slipping but i replaced it anywayat 100k as it was annoyingly difficult to drive... the clutches usually slip when had it, and the dual mass flywheels start to make clunking noise before they fail. i have heard of some one on this forum shoretening the slave cylinder rod with good results in pedal height.. there is also some playing around with the spring on the pedal which was tried on mine on the day of replacement that can also help. serch the forum may help.... oh and welcome to the forum
