Check battery light and aircon stopped working.

I recently brought a 2003 NISSAN NAVARA DUAL CAB everything was fine until the check battery light came on. Now my aircon blows air but not cold air I can’t seem to figure out what is happening. The check battery life is on all the time but it will stop occasionally and the cold air starts blowing again…. Just abit lost and could use a few pointers in the right direction

I think first up I would be looking at why the battery light is on. What voltage are you getting across the battery while the light is on (with car running)?

ps. how is the fan belt? No slipping? Is the idler pulley/tensioner ok, enough tension on the belt?

The fact that the battery light is consistent with no air con could indicate a belt problem, as a good place to start.
