changing fuel filter on V9X v6 diesel

Has anyone changed their fuel filter on the V6 550 motor (not the 4 cylinder) and if so how easy and any problem encounterd

Yes I have changed fuel filter on my v9x no problem.Just make sure you work clean when taking fuel lines off.When done make sure you prime the fuel lines with the primer bulb located behind the back seat.you can only get the filter from Nissan about $100.00

Yep i got caught out when my mechanic changed mine. I ended up with an air lock in the fuel line and it would not start. After a bit of research i then found the fuel bleed valve under the engine cover. Removed the cover pulled of end cap and used hand pump to re prime fuel line then all ok.
