Have fun putting it together, if you're unsure about anything, just don't connect the positive leads at either end until you've tested the resistance between each end of the cable and the battery negative. You should get "infinite" ohms each time. If you don't, you will blow a fuse when you connect the cables if you've made a mistake.
However, slow and steady and just don't worry about negative - lump them all together, just make sure the run from the front of the car to the back is heavy cable - then you only have to focus on the positive cable and that makes things much easier.
