Still $40 is dirt cheap FB!! I found a wrecker that works from home!! Told him they are $80 brand new and got it for $20.....pretty happy

Gotta love wreckers! I got an old man emu 2" lift, leafs and shocks for $220 from the wreckers

hey guys,
so i installed the turbo timer, but it didnt work. i was just about to throw it in the bin until my old man insisted he had a look at it first. being an electronic engineer, he fixed it!!! it had been drowned from previous owner (prob why it was at the wrecking yard) and there was alot of corrosion and tracking on the circuit board. so a quick clean and she works like a treat now.

ive been trying to sell a boost gauge, no one wants it so im going to install it in the nav next weekend.

picked up a micro cooler over the weekend. during the week ill be fabricating a bracket so i can mount a fan under it. ill post pics as they come

Did you find you got
Much extra flex using standard springs with extended shackles?

removed old electronic boost gauge because it was useless and fitted a speco one. heaps better

Ok, so I lost my shit majorly with the nav last night as it was the only car that didn't make it up a rutted hill climb!! I'm now on a mission to make the nav a tough, reliable, go anywhere truck!!
The first mods to come are:
33s
Front Lokka
Steering dampener

Followed by:
Inverted shocks
Lift blocks
HD tie rods
New shocks

Then later on:
Body lift
Reduction gears
35s

The nav will see no offloading until the first lot of mods are done!!!

Bahaha. Start with the lokka, then the body lift, then the 33's.

Get more flex out of the rear by removing the helper peace (big thick bastard at the bottom of the pack) and cutting off the "keepers" this'll allow the pack to really stretch out and flex down.

It'll ruin the car for on road use, but surely help off road.

But seriously, start with the lokka and see where that gets you. (hint: everywhere!)

I need to way up my options with SAS!! Sure it will be tuff in a nav but when I think about it I could sell my nav and go get a GQ or GU and turn that into a machine
