busted rhf tie rod

hi all
tried to do a trip in the vic high country on the long weekend wanted to get to mitchells flat camping area on the first day (Friday) left Alexandra on Friday morning via mt terrible to jamieson out to granys flat up masters track , stoney track then mitchells track to camp area

well that was the plan made it as far as masters track when trouble started.
(4 weeks ago installed new rock rod drag link and uca didn't replace tie rods and end's) not far up marsters busted the rhf tie rod bent and snapped clear in 2 quick trip in my brothers 02 hilux to jamieson and welded back together re installed all ok back on track half way up mitchells track and the hilux lost all drive front and rear diffs shot to hell rear punched a hole through the diff housing..
spent the next 5 hours winching made a late camp on side of track then spent next day flat towing hilux out to main road for tow truck was a nice site towing a hilux into running creek camp all in all was good trip the nav done excellent job winching and towing the hilux out was glad to get home at the end of it

Howdy- shame about your troubles, what "terrible" luck

Great spot though-it would have been nice and fresh up there "no esky required", and you get the "official" Toyota recovery vehicle sticker!
What upper control arms are they Tango? Nice rig!

yes it is a nice place
I fitted Superior Engineering Upper Control Arms seem to work well lots more down travel with d21 ironman shocks longer travel than the d22 ones
