broken engine

hey guys small thing the engine in my 2005 D22 **** itself. i can put a ZD30 from a partorl in my D22

Was the ZD30 chipped ?

You should be able to swap the motors. Turbo is different, pretty sure the exhaust manifold is different, clutches are different, pretty sure the fuel pumps run different fuel maps, the GU spec engine runs a MAF sensor and the D22 spec motor runs a MAP sensor.

The GU spec motor has extra brackets on the back for the FSR50 gearbox.

Yes, technically you can put one in. Hell you can put a Gen 3 V8 in if you want to, it just comes down to how deep your pockets are.
