Body Lift Info

Hi All, Going to make a body lift kit 40mm, for my 08 D40 spain 4.0 6 speed. I am looking on the net and am getting conflicting information.

What Ive found is that I need 8 x blocks 75mm diam for cab, and 4 blocks 50mm diam for tub.

Now on some sites it says 6 x 75mm and 2 x 50mm diam for cab and 4 x 50mm diam for tub.

Can anyone who has actually done this confirm?

Any other info, things to look for would be greatly appreciated.

What is the point of a body lift?? you don't gain any more off road ability , is it purely just for looks?

I think for some people it is just for looks. But the advantage, which can gain some more off road ability is to fit bigger tyres under the guards and hence a little more clearance under the diffs...

Body lift is done not just for looks but to fit bigger tyers im running 33's and they woundnt fit without rubbing unless i had a body lift
