Anyone know why my a/c , heater blower fan would just stop
It will have nothing to do with the resistor as per the thread title. You've either blown a fuse or as happened to me the bearing housing collapsed and it seized. Obviously check the fuse if you have not allready done so. To replace the blower is a fiddly prick of a job!.

Great stuff guys as Im now almost certain this is the problem Im having with my fan in my 2000 D22 DX Navara.
My Air Con dripped into the blower housing and seized the bearings. Probably not what has happened to yours but another problem Nissan was unable to fix and I had to on my own accord.

Yet again the forum delivers.

Looks like mine has gone. AC and fan seem to have stopped working on setting 2, 3 and 4 still working well. Here I was thinking the AC didn’t work on fan setting 1 from the factory, when for the few years of my ownership fan setting one hasn’t worked at all and it’s just been airflow from driving along.

I know it's an old post.
I am thinking of installing 3 regulators (7805/7905, 7808/7908) and regulate the voltage with diodes to Gnd
It can handle 1Amp each, or multiply the current capacity with 2N3055 or higher wattage

you really need current regulation, not voltage regulation. your setup would be expensive and unreliable. certainly no better than the factory resistors.
you would be better off with the digital speed control from another car. there are probably kits around.
