Ball joint for 3" uca

Just wondering if anyone out there with the after market upper control arms has had to replace a ball joint yet? One of mine is stuffed and I don't want to pay the premium price snake racing are charging, have heard or read somewhere that D21 factory ones fit? Anyone confirm this?

Are the standard D21 lower ball joints interchangeable on a D22(ZD30 era)?
Anyone know what the torque value is for the ball joint nut?

A rubber boot on one my lower ball joints is split and will need replacing soon.

They're the same fit, but different build.. the snake ones are good quality... left is Snakey, right is Selby...
