Bad noise

My 2009 D22 has developed a rattly noise from the front of the engine. Any ideas on what's going on here?

Timing chains on some yd25 models are know to fail.
Could be the air con or alternator to. Remove the belt and see if it stops.

Tha sounds more like a bearing on the way out. As was said belts off and if it goes then you have your answer.

Thank-you. Do you mean like a bearing in the water pump or air con pump? Still need to take the belt off and see what I have. Maybe this weekend.

Could be any of them. best thing is once you take off the belts spin the water pump and the water pump to find the culprit. My guess is the alternator
