Auto trans taking tie to engage drive STX-550

I've noticed recently when putting my 2014 STX-550 into drive that it taking longer to actually feel it engage.

When i first got the vehicle would put it into drive and feel it engage almost instantly.

Lately there is a noticable lag in engagment which seems to be getting longer.

What is this a sign of and how worried should I be?

When mine did that I did a fluid change.

Mine used to do it but i haven't noticed it since I had my transmission serviced. I know they are supposed to be a non service/sealed for the life of the vehicle deal but seriously? never ever needs servicing? I don't think so. had it serviced at 110,000km,
