Engine starting

Engine running

The guy reckons safe to drive around locally. Bring her back again in a couple of weeks and he'll fix it.

Not starting properly, malfunction light coming on Tacho going mad.

So did you end up pulling the harminic balancer off ?

Hey mate any solution yet? I havin same problem just never had a weird noise only the starting issue and tacho going crazy, and engine light with fault code for Cas.
Had Cas changed over cost me 600 bucks and still didn't fix so pretty pissed at that cus I told him to make sure it wasn't something causing the sensor to get bad readings, think what northside said about the ring gear might be my next approach, hopefully they will give me labour for free and not charge for the sensor cus he said he was 100% it was the sensor haha

I'm going in tomorrow or this arvo so if ya have any outcome of yours that'd ve great.
