Hey all, I have a 2011 d22 and was wondering how you all keep the aluminum stuff shinning. I have had my nav for about 9 months and the bull bar and roll bar is looking like shit all ready and was wondering what you guys use to make it look like new.!

Cheers

Wicked Metal Polish - the best you can buy, if you can't find that you can get purple metal polish as its made in the same factory, but in a smaller bottle. Try their liquid wax also, it is so easy to apply. as for stopping it oxiding again, i put b-67 sealant on my polished alloys and it lasts about 3 years unless it gets chipped off. The sealant is an art to apply though, and DON'T put it on plastic either even though it says you can! learn't that from experience. I personally would just polish it every 6 months, its quick and cheaper!

Nice One. Thanks heaps for the advice. Can you polish it by hand or is it best done by a buffer?
