alternator help.

I need an alternator for a D21 KA24E motor, will a Z24 alternator fit? cheers.

The D21 manual I have doesn't say, it describes the Z24i alternator as suitable for all 2WD and 4WD vehicles sold in Canada and USA, with a peak output of 60A (Canadian).

There's a few people here who are exceptional with D21s - they'll be along sooner or later.

Pretty sure the offset on the pulley is wrong, also the plug won't fit. $210 gets you one delivered from eBay for a KA24E.

really need to know asap, as if so, I might just buy the whole car, as I need other parts anyway.

I used my Z24 alternator when i put in the KA. Worked fine. Just had to 'massage' the bracket with an angle grinder to get it to fit.
