Adding a lazy axle to a Navara D40

Hi all

Has anyone out there added a lazy axle to a 2008 Nissan Navara D40? We're thinking of converting our ute to a tray back and adding an axle so we can carry a slideon camper. We would welcome any advice on whether or not what we're thinking is possible and if it is, what the pitfalls are that we may face as we work through the process. It would also be helpful if I could have a rough idea of potential costs.

I don't remember the title of the thread but I'm sure there was a discussions about it somewhere. Try using an "advanced search" (click under the search box). It's a little more in depth and might yield some more results. Failing that someone else might remember the thread soon.

Welcome to the forum mate.If you can make it 6 wheel drive that would be awesome but being a lazy axle it will limit you to where you can and cant go
