85-87 d21 king cab body lift kit. HELP!!

Hey There Everyone,

I own a d21 king cab 4cyl petrol auto and it is a great little truck. I love it!.. I was looking at putting a body lift into it... Now, me being mechanically illiterate was going to buy the lift kit and pay to have it put in... I was looking at a 50mm or 75mm... (i love a tall truck )..

Now, would anyone with experience in these vehicles please be able to tell me if i would be paying for a straight forward instillation or would i need to pay for heaps of other mods and would it be better just going for a simple 25mm body lift???

Mate go the 50mm body lift and those ones you're looking at are no good as they are illegal. You need to have them made out of steel or alloy.
Having it fitted you will have to allow for the mechanic to raise the fan shroud, lengthen the fuel filler and return and just small stuff like that but it is time.
