Hey guys,

A friend of a friend runs a suspension shop at his house. I was quoted $250 for a set of 3" leaf springs. Pretty happy I am

That's a good price... Are you running standard sprins still with your extended shackles?
Did the shackles give exactly 2 inch lift?
I'm thinking of fitting shackles to mine in the rear with the springs I already have and then fitted the uca's and cranking the t-bars a bit more

Yeah standard springs with extended shackles. Deff gave it lift and best flex!!

I'm looking at 1.5" shackles. And uca's probably order them in the next couple weeks. Need to sort out anniversary presents for the misso first!
You happy with your uca's?
Or would you have prefered a body lift?

UCAs all the way mate!! Heaps of flex at the front and it sits 3" over standard. I am going to get a body lift soon so I can throw 35s on

yeah i already have 2 inch lifted springs so adding another 1.5 inch plus the uca's should work well. i think.. I hope

It's going to be harder tracking down a Dana 44 diff and getting diff gears to match though:. Get that kit and maybe modify patrol diffs to fit I think that'd be easy

hi there Calcal, do you have contact details for your mate? or was that just a mates rates price?
I am thinking of going to a 3" lift with UCAs from calmini also... the price is alot less than i expected :)

its mates rates. i think he charges $600 fitted normally

yeah that will probably not be a go-er then.
the cal offroad 3" springs are like $660 for a pair.

do you know of any other places that make affordable 3" lift springs?

was also thinking of maybe using one of those 'add-a-leaf' with some 2" springs to get a bit extra height... not sure on this tho havent heard much about it
