Thanks for your reply. I do servicing and brakes but feel this job will be too much for me. Not sure if it would be safe to drive to Castlemaine. Great information in this forum. I have lots of leads now thank you. I can’t believe how many places just won’t touch it.

I see you are from Werribee. I brought a D40 5 weeks ago and it needs the chain done. Could you recommend someone competent to do it in the Ballarat area ? I’m presuming you are a mechanic ?
I’ve asked a few but they won’t touch it cause it’s a Navara.
