Sorry I took so long to reply. I have an automatic Nav, so probably can't help. Have you tried putting the car in gear and rocking the back in forth at maybe someone else can try and take it out of lo range. It sounds like it is bound up to me.
That could possible be a bad ABS sensor or a bad wheel bearing. I would take a look at your wheel bearings and make sure they are good. A lot of ABS sensor failures are due to the spacing between the sensor and the abs timing ring coming into contact. Easy to check; jack up the wheels and rock...
When you update the suspension with adjustable upper control arms you usually have to trim the shock buckets a little bit to allow for the extra travel. I did this 12 years ago and have had no bad effects. Just enough get the clearance, do not take of to much! I hope this helps.
We really need to know what kind of Nav you have before we can really help you. The d40 goes from 2004 to 2021. There have been a LOT have changes from the beginning to the end. Is it 6 or 4 cylinder, Spanish or Thai (VSK or MNT), Manual or auto, Year, ...? In the future for all post for...
There have been reports of firewall cracking with manual Navaras. Make sure you do a good visual inspection of your firewall. if you actually have 860,000 miles:unsure: then wear and tear could be an issue.
Welcome to the Forum! I love my Nav! The only thing I hate about it is getting aftermarket mods. I may be biased , but I have not had the myriad of problems people have had with their Navs. I make sure to have regular maintenance by myself and to take it a mechanic at least once a year. I do...
A lot has changed since then. I have become a more seasoned driver sense those early day when I posted this. Josephine and I have crossed the Simpson, spent two days on the tele-track on our way to the tip, we did 60ks on the Goog's track (never again!), and we are heading to the Kimberly this...

I have Pro Racks on my Navara. I initially went with the clamp on style that lasted for about a year and half. Driving down the road and saw one of the bars bouncing down the road in my rearview mirror. Manage to save the other one before it came off, but the one that fell off was ran over by a...
I just bought a cheap pair off eBay. The struts were terrible barely help up my bonnet. I then replaces struts. The place that sold me struts said that is usually what most do to get the brackets.

I have a 2012 ST bought it new. I have had regular wheel alignments none of them done at Nissan. I have never seen this error light after an alignment. I will check my owners manual to verify if this is required during the alignment.

I want to paint my snugtop shell with bed liner. I was trying to decide to do it myself or pay to have it done. Does anyone know how hard it is to get good results with the DIY roll on bed liner?
Thanks!

I know it has been a while but I wanted to let you know the outcome. So after taking the car in for a different drive line issue. The guys checked the front diff and the fuse was loose. Reseated the fuse and works fine. Did not lose 4wd by the way.
Thanks for the help.

So I did something stupid and I need ideas about next steps. So I have had e-lockers installed a few months ago and I was not sure if they were working so in my great wisdom I decided to pop my Nav in 4wd in a parking lot and turn on the front locker. The stupid thing was the wheels were not...
