    Goodbye Navara!

One of my favourite EE videos was how Jason showed that in pure storage capacity, it was cheaper to buy a F150 lightning than the equivalent 8?(I think) Tesla power walls...And you also get a truck! We are due to add around 25 GW of renewable energy to the Australian market this year...

    Goodbye Navara!

I read an interesting article yesterday regarding smaller electric delivery trucks coming to Oz. The company involved was planning on using them for night time freight in noise curfew areas, where they could be charged during the day using excess generation that would be exported to the grid for...

    Hello

I hear you mate. If I am going somewhere I expect to sit in traffic, I will take my wife's Commodore. My HQ Statesman is an auto, but at around 25l/100km and no ac, the Dunnydore it is😁 I will end up with my left calf twice the size of my right otherwise

    Bulging fenders

I was looking through the manual today to find the fender/guard removal instructions but found nothing. It seems as though maybe the fastening bolts around the middle (to the cab) may have loosened?? You might need to dig into this, I have not seen this on mine after 380k now And it seems a bit...

Horrible engine feedback noise inside cab.

If you can find a piece of thin fibro to jam in it would at least help prove if that is the source. I wouldn't expect it to move without some persuasion though. You haven't bottomed out somewhere have you? You could get away with something thinner jammed in he gap that isn't heat resistant just...

RH rest is 10mm lower than LH on our 2009 D22 Nav, any thoughts?

Right hand rear? If it's the front, do as Tony says. If it's the rear you probably need new leaf springs. Does it sag badly with a load in the back?

    Zd30 overheating

Ok. I just had my top radiator port snap off and when it was cold it didn't show any temp increase after I drove down to the bakery and back the next day which was probably a 2 km round trip I don't think it would be a thermostat fail while driving as it would likely stay open, but the bigger...

    Cluster issue

You are probably right about the grounding issue. Have a look on here for the service manual, it has all of the grounding connections as I recall

    Zd30 overheating

Have you tried it again after refilling with new coolant? I take it the radiator is clear and not pegged up with grass seeds etc? Does it run alright when cold?

New member - 2004 Nav Zd30 needs engine work

That is good news. I have no water in my oil and no bubbles in my coolant so I am hopeful that I am in good shape. I have another rad with plastic tanks though, needed to get her back on the road asap😕

New member - 2004 Nav Zd30 needs engine work

I just hit 380thou on mine, no problems. Until today. On the way home saw a bunch of smoke from under the bonnet and she started chugging pulled straight over and stopped. Popped the bonnet and found the top radiator hose had blown off, or so I thought. The end of the top rad port had snapped...

    Error code 77 injector pump

Any problems running other than the check engine light? Is it still a 77 code?

    Kaput.

Bad luck mate. I feel I should like your post but that is ********* I recommend you get it fixed so that you can continue to participate in this forum, or buy another Nav... Or if you have no self respect you could get yourself a Hilux 😁

2004 D22 Navara 3L disel not starting after running out of fuel

Once you have recharged your battery you will need to loosen one of the injector lines until you get fuel from it when cranking But you may have blocked your fuel filter too if you sucked up some mucky **** from the bottom of the tank

2002 3 litre diesel Navara starting problem .

Yeah sounds like the starter, or at least very close to my symptoms. The fact that I was getting a crank angle fault, but it ran fine once started proved it was not the sensor. I had never realised the tacho was stationary while cranking until I replaced the starter. I bought a new one from...
