They ended up replacing the diff under warranty. But they as saying it still wasn't there fault it broke. It took a lot of getting up them about it.

Has anyone else had this pin break in their front diff? The car has 57,000km. Nissan suggest excessive force on the pin. I find it very hard to believe if there was excessive force that the pin was the weakest point. I would expect the gears or cv's to break first. Of course Nissan are knocking...

I was thinking front diff. It seems to go into 4wd ok and work fine. The issue has only happened when in 2wd.
