My Sept 2012 STX 450 has a full block off from brand new and now has 93,000km without an issue.

Something else Old Tony forgot is to check and clean the earth terminals in the engine bay under the ECM and behind the air cleaner. There maybe a Transmission one under the ute too, can't say I've looked for one before though.

No 1 is just a baffle to quiet down the intake noise. No 2 is the top of your injector as Old Tony said, what your talking about is the fuel tubes and nozzles that feed the injectors. The dump pipe can get hot (up to 700°C) depending on the tune.

I tried this with my Torque App Old Tony but unless I'm typing something wrong it keeps coming back as sensor not recognized.

A Pathfinder YD25 will fit inas they are identical but a D22 and the post 2010 D40 450 are a slightly different motor so although they will fit in mount wise they will not match up to the wiring or other accessories like exhaust, intake and sensors.

No I mean 450. The auto box in it, has a totally different feel to my old one even though the RE5R05A transmission itself is identical except for being so called tip tronic, so I was just wondering if it was just a different TCM (or tune in the TCM) or if it is a new lower stall TC.

Does anybody know if the stall converter in the 450's is the same as the early ones as my 450 auto preforms totally different to my 07. It locks up in 2nd through to 5th instead of just 5th like the 07 and holds the lock-up better when accelerating.
