a 3" exhaust is good for 400HP in a petrol car... 2.5" is PERFECTLY FINE for a 2.5L turbo diesel... heaps of people with turbo patrols and cruisers run 2.5" exhausts and those are 4.2L engines...

when i had a blocked prefuel filter i couldnt rev past 2500rpm without it just sputtering and losing power, i had to shift to a higher gear to gain power haha check you installed the fuel filter right, check the hoses are right. can always get an air compressor and blow out the main fuel line...
