Another Day of exploring: GlenRock SF & Wallers Rd-Murphys Ck

Got inchy feet again and decided to go for another drive after I finished my night shift. I've had in the back of my mind for a years now to visit a place called GlenRock NP.... I also thought while I was out that way that I might give the D22 Nav it's 1st taste of 4wdriving by driving Wallers...

    d22 doors rattle

I installed some of those roofbars that attach via gripping around the inside door rubber..... All was good until I'd go over certain bumps & I'd hear a knock/rattle like the door wasn't fully closed.... annoyed the hell out of me. Finally removed the roofbars & all is good now.....

    What locker should I get

How many people have broken their Front Diffs when offroading (not meaning CV's)? I realize the Lockers help in regards to the shock factor, but is there many reports of ppl breaking their front diffs while out wheeling?

    Wanted d22 standard alloy wheels

Have a look on gumtree.... I just bought a full set of 4 + centre Caps for $140.00. I had been waiting for a while though as most that I looked at wanted $180+. My budget was tight so I had to wait for the right time......

What Rear Shocks for Extended Shackles?

Thanks for that John.... Would there be any issues putting a shock that was designed for a coil vehicle onto a leaf sprung vehicle? I had always thought that there was different characteristics between the Coil & Leaf sprung shocks ? What sort of $$ would I be looking out ? Rob

What Rear Shocks for Extended Shackles?

Guys...... After installing extended shackles, I now need to consider replacing the rear shocks to gain the full benefit of the extended shackles for extra wheel travel. I removed the rear shocks to see what length of shock I would need and found out that I need a shock with the following...

    Extended Shackles..... vibrations?

Just made up some wedges and installed them..... Seems to have decreased the vibration, but I might need to adjust them & I reckon it will sort out all vibrations...... rob

    Extended Shackles $$

Yeah, they seem OK, but time will tell in regards to them not having grease-able points. The shackle has 2 positions to which u can install the bottom shackles. I used the shorter one (130mm between holes) and it raised the car 40mm. The bottom holes are 160mm which would raise it higher again...

    Extended Shackles $$

I bought a set of these: NISSAN NAVARA FRONTIER BRAVADO D22 2" LIFT EXTENDED REAR SHACKLE SHACKLES 98-04 Theres 2 height settings & I've got mine on the lower setting. They are not greasable but I'm not too concerned with that

    Decreasing Turbo Lag

Installing of a Chip.... wouldn't that help out down low a bit ?? It seems to with mine

    Extended Shackles..... vibrations?

How does that work as the front spring mount is fixed and prevents the diff from moving forward? There is the twist factor & this is where the wedges would probably help....
