Is your factory suspension stuffed after 2 years or inadequate for what you use it for?

I am North of Brizzy and never flooded however I will concede that the floods haven't helped pump the housing market back up again. Cheap credit aka nil lending criteria would help though IMHO.

Just getting back on topic I want the govt to pump billions of cheap credit into the economy to inflate the value of my house so I can sell it for what I paid for it 5 years ago. That is it.

Mine was brand new 3 weeks ago $27,990 drive away, 12mths rego and silver metallic without ABN. Looked at an Outlaw what put me off was not needing a couple of the extras like towbar, bullbar and soft cover. But if you really want the extras then at the price would be good deal.

Mine is not underlip. Only has the 2 standard stainless bolts plus the 4 hooks.

Since my last post they are trying a different approach. Shall have to wait and see although they do seem to be trying hard to sort it out for me.

They are going to put in 3 stainless screws evenly spaced. Would not consider the other option. As long as it stops the buckling etc and looks ok I will be a happy man. I will put up a pic.

That sounds like a better option I have sent an email to Nissan for their opinion. Hopefully they agree as it saves drilling more holes in my tray.

Spoke to Robert from Petrie Nissan he reckons it probably needs a couple extra screws and want me to bring it in to fix. What do they normally do to prevent rust around these holes? Do they apply a zinc coating or a bit of paint?

Hi Nissan Petrie put in my tubliner last week and although genuine it is buckled where it attaches to front of tray. Is this normal or should Nissan refit with some extra bolts? Would like some feedback and/or pics before I call them. I have posted a pic in my garage a link below. Cheers...

Why buy a new nav d22 just to mod it etc to wring more out of its engine? Why not just buy a petrol or a more powerful car? I like how its less powerful if i wanted more power i would have spent more on a car designed by professionals that goes harder. My humble thoughts anyway. Does anyone else...

But what about the weeks a car might sit in the car yard during torrential rain etc that should not be an issue unless its been underwater and if so the service guys would surely know anyway? Btw, my accessories guy said the bonnet protectors just clip on. Is that right? Have never owned one but...
