Same problem. I ended up using silicone to "glue" the leather to the black surround. The black surround still clips in and out of the rest of the floor console so can be removed if need be.

I had similar problems with mine over the hot days last month. Finally got around to pulling the radiator out to give it a flush and this is what I found .... This muck was between the radiator and the air con condensor so you cant clear it without removing the radiator (easy 20min job)...

I've just lifted mine (cab only as I've got an Ally tray) and you're gunna find it near impossible to get the correct bolts. The cab has 8 in total and you need 4 x 12mm at around 170mm but they need the 1.25 fine pitch thread. The other 4 are 10mm at around 150mm but again fine pitch metric...
