ZD30 Engine Oil Choice

Hey Guys,

Just wondering what peoples preferences are for oil for the ZD30 motor. I know a lot of people run delo 400 multi-grade 15W-40 in their patrols with the ZD30 and everyone has good things to say about it. Is the delo a mineral or semi-synthetic? Going by the caltex lubricant guide they recommend the Havoline synthetic blend 10w-40. I can get 20L of delo for $101.95 or I can get the Havoline synthetic for $116.80.

Am I better off going the fully synthetic for the little bit extra?

I run the Valvoline 15w-40 10ltrs is $60 thats a Semi Synthetic

have done about 7000kms since last change and hasnt lost any of its viscosity very silky... and it is due for a change now.

I use 15w40 Valvoline super diesel
when I still have my zd30 D22
I still use 15w40 Valvoline super diesel
for my zd30 Patrol

I use Delo 400 and she loves it!
Bought it direct from the local Caltex depot for $85 last time.
