Your Hottest Day (pics please!)

I was looking at some of my pics and this one gave me an idea.

Put up a pic of your car's ambient temperature display along with the approximate location, date and time it was taken. Don't give away your home address, but let's see the heat!

I'll kick it off with this one. I actually missed the peak, won't miss it this coming summer!

Sorry, no pic, but sitting in the Pimba Roadhouse one summers afternoon (a fine establishment) having a beer, too bloody hot to drive because the heat coming off the road was searing, the barman was taking bets. It was 49.5 on the digital gauge and the bet was would it reach 50. He took the pool because as the day wore on it dropped to 49 even hahaha

Hottest ive seen on mine is 46, ill try to get a snap this summer

For everyone with a d40 and no outside temp gauge, you can get the sensor from nissan dealer for about 100 bucks

You plug it in to the empty plug in front of the radiator and viola! The outside temp magically appears below the clock on the dash

There are cheap knockoffs out there not sure how accurate they are though
