Winch install Ironman Deluxe bar

Hi anyone installed a winch on ironman delux bar any hints or tips would be good do i have to pull the bullbar of to install

Not sure mate. Not familiar with the bar.

Best way to tell is get down under the front of it and look for a removable section
(probably held with 4 bolts) at the bottom middle of the bar. This would be a winch
mounting tray if it is there. It should have 4 bolt holes for the winch as well.
You would need to remove bash plates if fitted to check.

If there is nothing that can be removed then it will be a bar removal to fit winch.

cheers scuba there is a removable section just not sure if i will get it back in with the winch on i will just have to pull it out and see.

I had to use my trolley jack to put it back up into position mate.
A bit too heavy otherwise. A second pair of hands will also make
things much easier.

i found out i dont need to take the bar of its a tight fit but it fits
im about to put it on for the 3rd time
1st time i put it in then realised i cant get in to hook the cables up and the engage/freespool lever had to be rotated.
2nd time got it in and had all my cables faceing the wrong way so wouldnt reach control box
3rd time lucky

were did you get there bar from and how long the waight because they told me 8 weeks.

pic didnt work have a look in my garage its in there.
i got mine from the local auto one in bathurst.
