Who runs alternative fuels or aditives

Does anybody run their Diesel vehicle on anything other than just Diesel?

what do you use?

What are the benefits you get?

I looked into cooking oil when I had my old patrol with the sd33 in it. At the time I worked with a guy who was setting up a 75 series cruiser troopy to run on it, which it did quite well.

I don't know if I'd like to risk running anything like that on the newer tech turbo diesels though. ..

Yeah we had a guy from my work Who use to run using old oil from fish and chip shops....... Funny thing was when you stood behind it when it was running..
It actually did smell like fish and chips.lol

A few of the guys on the U.K forum are starting to add a bit of acetone to their diesel to improve fuel consumption.
