Hi everyone, newbie to the forum here. We have a Spanish 2013 D40 6-speed manual which, according to all the lights indicating on the dashboard, is engaging 4WD — but it isn't. We've been is several situations where the front wheels are plainly not driving.
It seems to be a common problem, but can anyone point me to a well-known thread that might help me? Are there any actual fuses for the 4WD system that might need replacing? I can't find any...
I live in a smallish country town where it might be tricky getting a knowledgeable mechanic. I'm hoping to eliminate any easy, obvious solutions before tackling the logistics of getting the car to a 4WD expert in the city.
