Water photography

Hey guys,

Not really Navara relevant (mines still at the mechanic but thats another story..) but thought I would share my first attempt at some water photography. More then happy to hear some feed back, I don't have a big budget so photos are taken with my gopro.

Not too bad really, Shooting directly into the sun's always going to be a bit of an issue though, still quite good detail considering.

Got any looking away from the sun? Keep it up, would like to see more like it.

Yeah, it was setting behind the clouds so was confident I wouldnt do any damage haha. I did get a couple looking away but didnt like any of them.

I just bought myself a pare of flippers to get out a bit deeper to take barreling pics (with cleaner waters hopefully)

Try and find a shorebreak, just got back from 3 wks in Hawaii and got some really cool pics whilst I was over there. Body surf while the gopro is on burst mode and get yourself inside some shacks

Yeah I love Clark Little's shots (mostly shories in Hawaii) but unfortunately there isn't much like that in vic (without getting mashed on rocks).

Sold one of them (but black and white), pretty stoked by that. Be even more stoked if I could sell enough to write some shit off on tax haha

I've never been lucky enough to sell any of my photography, if I had a bit of interest I probably would have pursued it a bit further.

I shared it on facebook and one of my mates showed interest. It's the 6th I've sold, but im lucky that my parents run an art gallery/cafe so just throw em up there.

The in water pics are off a GoPro hero3, other wise I use my Canon 550d
